Mail delivery to Canada has been suspended due to an ongoing national strike by the Canadian Union of Post Workers. Since November 15, 2024, notices that the Bankruptcy Noticing Center (BNC) has attempted to deliver to Canada are being held at the Canadian/United States border, stored in secured containers, and will not be delivered to intended recipients until after the postal strike has concluded. Recipients in Canada have not received court-issued notices since November 15, 2024, and will not receive them until the strike is over. Currently, electronic bankruptcy noticing through the BNC is not an option for international recipients, and all should assume a Canadian recipient has not received notice by other means (i.e., electronic notice).
