Brooke Cheney's Services
A visitation for Brooke Cheney will be held Friday, October 25, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Schoedinger Margarum Northeast, 1051 E Johnstown Road, Gahanna, Ohio 43230. A memorial service for Brooke will be held Friday, November 1, 2024, at 4:00 PM at Rose Run Presbyterian Church, 5220 Johnstown Rd, New Albany, OH 43054.
We extend our deepest sympathy to Brooke's family, friends, and colleagues as we all grieve this tremendous loss to the lobbying community.

Yesterday, our company's founder and friend, Brooke Cheney, passed away peacefully. Brooke was an innovator in the field of lobbying, as one of the earliest independent lobbyists in Ohio, leading him to found Governmental Policy Group, Inc. on February 1, 1988. Our team are benefactors of that risk and hard work. His guidance and advice were sought by many government officials over the last five decades and he was always willing to share his insights and mentor these individuals. He earned and commanded respect among his peers, competitors, and employees.
Words cannot express the loss that Richard, our team, and I are experiencing at this moment. We ask for your thoughts and prayers for Brooke and his family during this difficult time, especially his significant other, Heidi Hagan. Mr. Cheney was a Certified Lobbyist and member of the Ohio Lobbying Association as well as a member of the Association of Ohio Commodores. He was 69 years old.
