USGBC announces 2024 U.S. Local Market Leadership Award recipients

These awards recognize excellence in creating better buildings and improving the lives of all in the community.

USGBC is pleased to announce the recipients of our 2024 U.S. Local Market Leadership Awards. These prestigious awards recognize projects, people and partners from participating markets across the country for excellence in creating better buildings and improving the lives of all in their local communities. The X projects, X individuals and X organizations recognized this year represent the pinnacle of green innovation and leadership.

Project awards were given in multiple categories. Project award recipients were determined by an esteemed panel of judges representing leaders and stakeholders in the USGBC community with a variety of technical, market and sector perspectives and expertise. Projects were judged based on their certification level under LEED or another GBCI rating system, goals, strategies, synergies, performance and significance or impact within their local market.

Community Impact Awards recognize individuals or organizations supporting USGBC's mission by advancing sustainability, resilience, equity, health and well-being in their local community. Community Impact Award recipients were determined by volunteer local Market Leadership Advisory Boards.

Award recipients in select markets were recognized at local Building Transformation Forums early this fall. Additional winners will be recognized at upcoming Building Transformation Forums in December and January.
