Investigation into Fatal Crash at 700 West Little York Road

October 14, 2024- Houston police are investigating the fatal crash that occurred at 700 West Little York Road about 11:05 a.m. on Sunday (Oct. 13).

The identity of the deceased male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant A. Patterson and Officer Z. Alikhan reported:

Officers responded to a report of an auto-pedestrian crash at the above address. The male driver, 72, of a grey Chevrolet Impala was traveling eastbound on West Little York when he struck the victim who was attempting to cross the street, not in a crosswalk.

The driver of the Impala remained at the scene, did not show signs of intoxication, and was questioned and released.

The investigation is continuing.
