Details

This report fulfils the FCDO's statutory reporting requirements on the gender pay gap, covering 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024. It relates to policies under the previous Conservative Government.

The 2024 gender pay gap report provides organisational context and analyses changes from the previous year. There is still a gender pay gap (GPG) in the FCDO, although we have made positive progress in the last year against all measures. This includes:

  • the mean GPG has decreased from 4.0% to 2.5%
  • the median GPG has decreased from 8.7% to 2.7%
  • the mean bonus GPG has decreased from 16.0% to 9.1%
  • the median bonus GPG has decreased from 22.9% to 0.0%

The FCDO is committed to closing the gender pay gap and we have outlined action being taken to reduce and close the gap throughout the coming years.
