President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented apartment certificates to Heroes of Ukraine and family members of fallen warriors honored with this title posthumously.

"Each of our warriors should know: 'I defend Ukraine, and Ukraine defends me'. This is the fundamental principle that should underlie the state policy towards defenders. Everyone who has defended and is defending Ukraine should be provided with sufficient support and treated with dignity," the Head of State emphasized.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented 25 certificates to warriors and relatives of fallen servicemen of the Land Forces, the Air Force, the Naval Forces, the Airborne Assault Forces, the Special Operations Forces, the Territorial Defense Forces, the Unmanned Systems Forces, as well as 5 certificates to representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the National Guard.

This is the President's initiative, launched by him last December. All Ukrainian defenders, both enlisted personnel and officers, who have been conferred the title of Hero of Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, as well as the relatives of the posthumously honored warriors, will receive housing from the state.

"This is the least Ukraine can do for you, for all our heroes. This is one of the millions of 'Thank you' the state must, and will, express to its best sons and daughters," Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted.

Additionally, the President said that he recently presented the Victory Plan to Ukrainian society and international partners.

"Each point is an important prerequisite for our success and Ukraine's future security. But there are those who serve as the pillars of this entire structure. And this does not require additional fixation in any documents or roadmaps. It is forever fixed in our minds, in our hearts: you are the pillars. The pillars are our warriors," the Head of State emphasized.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked all Ukrainian defenders and called on everyone to always remember those who gave their lives for Ukraine.
