RWJBarnabas Health Facilities Honored as 2024 CHIME Digital Health Most Wired Survey Recipients

Most Wired Hospitals Earn Top Rankings in Patient Engagement and Other Key Categories

West Orange, NJ, October 30, 2024 - The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME), has announced the results of its highly anticipated Digital Health Most Wired Survey results for the 2024 collection period, recognizing 13 RWJBarnabas Health facilities with Most Wired status.

Among the nearly 48,000 organizations surveyed by CHIME, RWJBarnabas Health distinguished itself by ranking above peers in critical categories that include analytics and data management, population health, infrastructure, and patient engagement. The survey evaluates the adoption, integration, and impact of technologies across healthcare organizations, from early-stage adopters to industry leaders.

Ten RWJBarnabas facilities throughout New Jersey - Clara Maas Medical Center in Belleville; Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston; Jersey City Medical Center in Jersey City; Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch; Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus in Lakewood; Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark; Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick; Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton; Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Rahway; and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset - earned the highest-possible designation, Level 10.

RWJBarnabas Health Ambulatory Care Center in Livingston, Trinitas Regional Medical Center in Elizabeth, and the RWJBarnabas Health Medical Group scored Level 9 designations, while Children's Specialized Hospital in New Brunswick earned Level 6 honors. Trinitas Regional Medical Center also received special recognition for having the most improved score overall, in acknowledgement of the facility's efforts and investments in advancing healthcare outcomes through its digital ecosystem.
