On December 10, 2024, State Police of Schodack arrested Jessmynda M. Dosch-Evangelista, 33, of Schodack, NY, for Burglary in the second degree, Criminal Mischief in the fourth degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the fifth degree and Criminal Trespass in the third degree.
On December 10, 2024, at about 2:17 p.m., Troopers responded to a residence in Schodack, NY, for the reports of a burglary in progress. On arrival, Troopers located Dosch-Evangelista hiding in an outbuilding on the property, where she was taken into custody. Further investigation determined Dosch-Evangelista had reportedly entered the enclosed porch of the home without permission and the victim's vehicle, taking clothing items belonging to the victim. She then allegedly made attempts to enter the home and caused damage to the house before fleeing to the outbuilding, where she entered it without permission.
When Dosch-Evangelista was taken into custody, she still possessed the reportedly stolen clothing. She was transported to SP Schodack for processing. Dosch-Evangelista was arraigned at the Schodack Town Court and remanded to the Rensselaer County Correctional Facility without bail.
