Public Notice - Sole Source Award to RH2 Engineering, Inc. for Engineering and Design Services of the Highway 62 Pump Station Improvement Project, scheduled on November 26, 2024.

In accordance with Ordinance No. 2024-02 and Eagle Point Municipal Code Section 3.08, this serves as notice that the City Administrator has determined a sole-source contract should be awarded to RH2 Engineering, Inc. for the engineering and design of the Highway 62 Pump Station Improvement Project. RH2 Engineering, Inc. has extensive experience and knowledge of the city's water system from their work on multiple, complex and significant projects beginning in 2022. Therefore, RH2 Engineering, Inc., has been selected based on the efficient use of professional services that only they can provide related to their knowledge of the city's water system. Further, to the extent reasonably practicable, contract terms advantageous to the city have been negotiated with the sole source provider.

This notice was posted on the city's website on November 8, 2024, at least ten (10) days prior to the date the contract will be awarded. Protests of the use of a sole source selection method must be filed no later than 10:00 a.m. on November 26, 2024 with Aaron Prunty, City Administrator, via email at [email protected] or submitted in person or otherwise delivered to Aaron Prunty, City Administrator, at 17 Buchanan South, Eagle Point, Oregon 97524.
