WHAT: Maui Fire Department on scene battling the brush fire. Maui Police Department closing roads
WHERE: Honoapiilani Highway closed at Waiko Road and at Kuihelani Highway
WHEN: Reported to 9-1-1 Dispatch at 12:22 pm
IMPACTS: Smoke reducing visibility
Precautionary/Preparedness Actions:
Avoid the area if possible to allow first responders to work. No evacuations at this time. Monitor radio, TV, and mobile devices for official information. Prepare yourself and your family to evacuate if notified by County officials.
