New York, NY - November 19, 2024 - 'Tis the season for holiday cheer with AMC Networks' annual programming event, "Best Christmas Ever" during the month of December. The company's suite of targeted streaming services delivers a festive lineup of holiday programming, including the new film Christmas Eve in Miller's Point, starring Michael Cera (Superbad), Sawyer Spielberg and Francesca Scorsese; Shudder's exclusive streaming debut of holiday horror film A Creature Was Stirring starring Chrissy Metz (This is Us); an all-new original Shudder special Joe Bob's Christmas Carnage; and Acorn TV's The Chelsea Detective Christmas Special; plus AMC+ will debut two new Yule logs for The Walking Dead and Anne Rice fans. Based on three of the novels from P.D. James' bestselling murder mystery series, "Adam Dalgliesh Mystery," with Bertie Carvel (The Crown, Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell) reprising his role as the enigmatic titular investigator. The fantasy comedy series and "Must Watch Anime of the Summer 2024 Season" (Kotaku) Dungeon People returns this December in English dub-starting December 4 with new dub episodes every Wednesday. On the hunt for her missing father, master thief Clay heads off into an unexplored dungeon-but much to her surprise, the dungeon's caretaker offers her a job! Thievery hasn't worked for her thus far, so perhaps this new career path will take her closer to finding her dad. But change is never easy. From interviewing monster guardians to positioning traps to confound would-be explorers, Clay has a lot to learn about what it means to be one of the dungeon people. Dungeon People is directed by Sayaka Yamai, written by Toshimitsu Takeuchi and produced by OLM.

The new isekai fantasy adventure series Loner Life in Another World has been a hit this fall, and fans can continue to catch new subtitled episodes every Thursday until its season finale on December 12. After getting transported to another world with his entire high school class, "God" offers Haruka and his peers their choice of special powers so they can become fantasy heroes. But Haruka accidentally missed the power selection period, and now he's stuck with the leftover abilities his classmates refused to take! Seemingly underpowered, he makes use of his unwanted skills to live a (surprisingly comfortable) life as a lone wolf…but his classmates soon learn their "superior" abilities aren't as great as they're cracked up to be, and Haruka may have to come to their rescue using ingenuity, creativity, and the leftover powers his classmates once snubbed. Loner Life in Another World is directed by Akio Kazumi and written by Kenta Ihara together with production by Hayabusa Film and Passione.
