Scam Alert

We have received reports of individuals misleading residents by claiming to be City employees and offering water testing services. Please note that Chesapeake Public Utilities personnel will only visit your home for water testing if you have specifically requested this service. Chesapeake Public Utilities employees can be identified in several ways. They will arrive in a white city vehicle marked with the City Logo, present their employee identification, state their names, and identify themselves as working for Chesapeake Public Utilities. Chesapeake Public Utilities employees will never request access to residents' homes.
