MPD Makes Arrest in Northeast Burglary

The Metropolitan Police Department announces the arrest of a suspect in a burglary in Northeast.

On Monday, December 2, 2024, at approximately 9:36 pm, First District officers responded to the 1400 block of G Street, Northeast, for the report of a burglary. The victim stated that he returned to his home and noticed that property was missing. Video footage showed a suspect stealing the victim's property and those images were published in a news release and shared to MPD officers.

On Monday, December 16, 2024, Fifth District officers recognized the suspect, 31-year-old Allen Moore of Northeast, DC. The suspect was arrested and charged with Burglary Two and Theft.
