Boston Police Helps Serve Thanksgiving Meals to Seniors at Kroc Center

Serving up thanks at the Kroc Center!

Commissioner Cox, Members of the Command Staff, and other Officers teamed up with our amazing partners at the Salvation Army to dish out Thanksgiving meals (and a whole lot of smiles) to seniors at the Kroc Center in Roxbury!

From turkey to apple pie to lively conversations, it was a day to celebrate community and gratitude. Seeing so many happy faces reminds us what the holiday season is truly about-coming together, giving back, and spreading joy.

This event is more than a meal-it's about community policing in action: building trust, fostering connections, and being there for people in good times and bad. Strengthening these bonds is how we create a safer, stronger community together.

A big THANK YOU to the Salvation Army for making this possible and to all the seniors who shared their warmth and stories. We're so grateful to be part of this incredible tradition!
