Bus Shelter Enhancement Project

The City of Claremont is excited to announce the second-round installation of the Bus Stop Enhancement Project. For this project, the City worked with several outside companies to design a series of shelters unique to the City that blend both public art and transportation. There are three different size shelters that were approved as part of this project. The size of the shelter at each location is determined by available space and ridership data. The smaller, umbrella shelters were installed in the spring. Last week, the City's contractor began installing the mid-size shelters. Most of these shelters will be installed along Foothill Boulevard. Work will be completed by the end of next week. All work is scheduled between 7:30 AM and 4:30 PM. These operations may cause minor dust and noise, but the contractor will make every effort to minimize the impact to the community.

If you have any questions or concerns about the project, please contact the Community Services Department by email at [email protected].
