Lineage Loop south access, Briar Patch Lane access to be closed Oct. 11-Oct. 20

KILLEEN, Texas (October 8, 2024) - The City of Killeen's Engineering Division will be closing the southern access point of Lineage Loop at Bunny Trail, and Briar Patch Lane at Bunny Trail from Friday, October 11 at 7 a.m. to Sunday, Oct. 20 at 7 p.m.

The closure for road reconstruction as part of the Bunny Trail Reconstruction Project.

This closure will affect access to Roy J. Smith Middle School. Access to the school will be detoured to Alamocitos Creek Drive and Brushy Creek Drive.

Lineage Loop will still be accessible from the north entrance off Bunny Trail.

The contractor will have a traffic control plan in place and will detour traffic around the work area. Motorists should anticipate delays and are asked to use caution and obey traffic control devices and seek and alternate route if possible.
