HARRISBURG - Rep. Keith Greiner (R-Lancaster) announced today that Garden Spot Village in New Holland has been awarded a $4.5 million Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) grant for the construction of Garden Spot Communities Center for Arts and Culture.
The completed project will include studios and classrooms, along with office and storage space.
"I strongly advocated for this grant, and I am grateful to learn it was approved today," said Greiner. "This project will strengthen our arts community while also bolstering our local economy."
The RACP program, administered by the Office of the Budget, began in 1986 for the acquisition and construction of regional economic, cultural, civic, recreational, and historical improvement projects. In all, more than $590 million in RACP grants were awarded statewide today.
