CMS Releases Home Health VBP Online Training Course for CY2025

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released a self-paced, web-based training course to provide an overview of changes to the expanded Home Health Value-Based Purchasing (HHVBP) applicable measure set starting in Calendar Year (CY) 2025. These changes were finalized in the home health (HH) CY 2024 Prospective Payment System (PPS) final rule.

The course is intended for agency administrators, clinical managers/supervisors, quality managers, and staff development personnel in home health agencies. The 30-minute course can be viewed on demand and includes interactive exercises to help staff understand and apply the content presented. While it is intended that lessons be completed in sequential order, staff may also jump directly to any topic of interest.
