Clarkson will now offer an online Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering Program and an online Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering program.

The new programs from Clarkson can be taken in a synchronous or asynchronous manner. Evening classes are offered to accommodate working professionals who want to attend classes synchronously.

This program complements the already existing in-person MS program at Potsdam. Both a thesis track for research-focused students and a non-thesis track for industry-focused students are available. The two tracks offer ideal pathways for students who either want to go on to pursue a doctorate or are seeking to gain a competitive edge in the job market.

For both tracks, MBA electives and innovation courses can be used to complement the technical curriculum and satisfy degree requirements.

Clarkson is in the top 12 Best Master's Degree Granting Programs by salary potential, according to Payscale Inc. and one in five Clarkson alums is a CEO, owner of a company, or in a senior executive position.

Clarkson will host an online information session about both programs on Wednesday, Nov. 6 at 6 p.m. To register for the information session, click here.
