Detectives Working to Identify Robbery Suspect

Violent Crimes detectives are working to identify the man who on Tuesday at 7 a.m. robbed Swett's Market, 702 28th Avenue North.

The suspect demanded money from the clerk at gunpoint. The clerk complied and opened the cash register. The suspect took money and fled on foot.

The gunman is approximately 6'2" tall. He wore a black hooded sweatshirt with graphics on the front and sleeves, a light blue t-shirt, black jeans, a blue knit cap, and tennis shoes. Anyone with information about the suspect (surveillance photos attached) is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers can remain anonymous.
