Couples who said "I do" to their 'Boo' Thursday at the County Administration Center were in for a treat with a Halloween-themed wedding ceremony.
San Diego Assessor/Recorder/County Clerk (ARCC) Jordan Marks offered walk-in "Halloweddings" for Oct. 31 with no appointment required.
Officiants at the downtown office, dressed in Halloween attire, issued marriage licenses and performed ceremonies for couples saying "till death do us part."
On Thursday 98 marriage licenses were issued and 80 wedding ceremonies took place between the four ARCC locations.
On average, the office issues nearly 25,000 marriage licenses and performs more than 11,000 weddings each year. Nearly half of customers who request a marriage license also hold their wedding ceremonies at the ARCC's office.
