The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) issued the following statement on Rep. Mike Lawler's indisputable victory in the 17th Congressional district debate against Mondaire Jones:

"Rep. Mike Lawler is the only candidate in this race with a consistent track record of providing common sense solutions to the problems facing every day New Yorkers. His commitment to reducing the SALT cap, securing our border, and combatting antisemitism stands in stark contrast to his opponent who is consistently trying to talk out of both sides of his mouth.

"Mondaire Jones is an extreme liberal who has spent the better part of the last two years trying to rewrite history and undertaking blunder after blunder while doing so.
