Traffic Alert: Tennessee Department of Transportation work crews will close the I-55 Mississippi River Bridge

Traffic Alert: Tennessee Department of Transportation work crews will close the I-55 Mississippi River Bridge from October 25 at 8 p.m. to October 28 at 6 a.m. to continue construction activities on the I-55 and Crump interchange. The Memphis Arkansas Bridge will be closed for repair and inspection on I-55. A detour will be posted.

Here are the areas affected:

• I-55 SB will be closed at Bridgeport Road in Arkansas
• I-55 NB will be closed at South Parkway* in Tennessee *Local traffic will be allowed to continue to the McLemore exit
• I-55 SB ramp will be closed.
• Crump Boulevard WB will be closed
