Damien Rouge, Sr. Technical Product Manager - Connect Data Services, Aveva Damien Rouge is a Senior Technical Product Manager at AVEVA, where he leads the integration of cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and Snowflake within the CONNECT Data Services portfolio. He is also responsible for developing analytics solutions, including AVEVA BI Gateway. With over 20 years of experience in industrial solution development, Damien specializes in managing and contextualizing time-series data to drive operational insights. He bridges the gap between traditional data historian systems and advanced analytics platforms, empowering organizations to leverage big data, AI, and machine learning technologies effectively. His expertise spans architecture design, data modeling, and collaborating across engineering, data science, and IT teams. Before joining AVEVA, Damien worked as a Global Solution Architect, embedding innovative solutions into global operations. His background as a pre-sales consultant in BI, MES, and automation further refined his ability to deliver value-driven solutions to complex industrial challenges. Damien holds a master's degree in industrial systems engineering from Polytech University in Marseille, France, reflecting his strong technical foundation and dedication to lifelong learning.

John Baier
John Baier is Vice President of Solution Strategy at AVEVA. He is part of the Portfolio organization at AVEVA which manages all products and solutions across the broad AVEVA industrial software portfolio. John and his team lead the AVEVA Lighthouse Early Adopter Program, working with the AVEVA ecosystem of customers and partners to optimize customer value using our latest products and related technologies. The goals of this program are to lay the foundation that empowers the connected industrial economy by helping customers achieve operational excellence and hit their sustainability targets. John came to AVEVA through the acquisition of OSIsoft in 2021, serving at OSIsoft since 2009 and 20+ years at Rockwell Automation prior to that. He has held a variety of roles in software engineering, engineering management, product management, and software architecture. He is the inventor of over a dozen US Patents in plant floor information management and factory controls and holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
