2024 public review of debt write-offs is virtual

The Department of Revenue's Accounts Review Panel will meet virtually this year. The Panel will convene as a Teams meeting, but it is open to the public.

Getting ready for the meeting:

What: The Accounts Review Panel is an annual, public meeting organized by the Department of Revenue. Every year, the City reviews and removes old debts from its financial statements for accounting purposes.

Once a debt has been written off, it is no longer considered a receivable for accounting purposes. Nevertheless, the debt remains in City systems, and efforts to collect it continue.

When: Wednesday, September 25, 2024, starting at 10am.
