Monitor your water use with Flume

10/10/2024 - City of Leander is working with the Lower Colorado River Authority and the Flume company to offer a solution to monitoring your water use. LCRA has a limited number of rebates for Flume water flow monitoring devices for Leander residents.

The customer self-installs Flume on their water meter (no tools needed) and then uses an app to monitor usage data. With Flume, data is available on an up-to-the-minute basis. Normally, Flume costs $249, but Leander residents can get a Flume for just $74 through this program.

Flume can help avoid unexpected high bills from excess water use or leaks with emailed or texted alerts and give you insights into how much water each appliance or fixture in your home uses. Flume is used in a number of cities and water systems across the country. Some Leander customers already use these devices.

Flume is compatible with most, but not all, water meters, so be sure and check compatibility before you buy.
