IV International Conference on Ethnography Leiria 2024

The Municipality of Leiria and the Dona Julinha Municipal Agromuseum will once again organize in November (16) the International Conference on Ethnography - Leiria, in its fourth edition.

This initiative aims to disseminate and promote the study of Ethnography, presenting sources of knowledge and practical cases from different areas from different parts of the world.

The conference brings together in Leiria renowned historians, anthropologists and researchers who deepen their work, including some case studies, in order to value, through research and registration, the traditions, trends and identity aspects.

The initiative brings academics and experts in the field of Ethnography from six countries, who will present topics of cross-cutting interest, with the involvement of various academic and cultural institutions. This is an event that promotes intangible culture, namely the traditions, habits, uses and customs of the people.
