Dallas Fed names Selena Muñoz as vice president of credit, risk and reserves management

DALLAS-The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas has named Selena Muñoz as vice president of credit, risk, and reserves management.

In her new role, Muñoz will provide strategic oversight of the Dallas Fed's credit risk management and reserves functions, including the discount window. She will also oversee the quality risk management function for banking supervision.

Muñoz joined the Dallas Fed as an intern in 2001 and moved into the financial management group.

She has since held positions in the financial support office, where she was instrumental in establishing a shared services center to provide finance and accounting services on behalf of the Reserve Banks.

In her most recent role, Muñoz was the assistant vice president with oversight of the Dallas Fed's budget, enterprise risk management, Sarbanes Oxley internal controls compliance (SOX), and the district's project management office. She also served as the chair of the Dallas Fed's investment review committee.


Muñoz holds a BBA in accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington.
