Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher Hosts Military Service Academy Day for Students and Families in Texas’ Seventh Congressional District

On Sunday, Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher (TX-07) held a military service academy resource fair for high school students and their families in Texas' Seventh Congressional District.

"Nominating outstanding young Houstonians to the United States military service academies each year is a privilege and a pleasure," said Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher. "I am inspired by the many bright young students who wish to serve our country in our armed forces, and honored and proud to represent them and their families. I am grateful to the representatives from the service academies who attended Sunday's resource fair for sharing information for our students and their families."

Representatives from the following U.S. military service academies attended the resource fair:

• U.S. Air Force Academy (Colorado Springs, CO)
• U.S. Coast Guard Academy (New London, CT)
• U.S. Naval Academy (Annapolis, MD)
• U.S. Military Academy (West Point, NY)
• U.S. Merchant Marine Academy (Kings Point, NY)
