[WASHINGTON, DC] - U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) Chair of the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Privacy, Technology, and the Law, will convene a hearing on Tuesday, November 19 at 2:00 PM titled, "Big Hacks & Big Tech: China's Cybersecurity Threat." The hearing will explore a wide range of issues related to the cybersecurity risks posed by Chinese hacking of American telecommunications and tech firms, and the risks of business exposure to Chinese political and legal demands.
Tomorrow's hearing will include testimony from the following witnesses:
The Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Privacy, Technology, and the Law has jurisdiction over legal issues pertaining to technology and social media platforms, including online privacy and civil rights as well as the impacts of new or emerging technologies.
