JNC recommends candidates for State Court of Paulding County

The Judicial Nominating Commission has submitted recommendations to fill a vacancy within the State Court of Paulding County. The vacancy was created by the passage of House Bill 1466 during the 2024 session of the Georgia General Assembly.

Governor Kemp will fill the vacancy from the list. The Governor's Office will contact candidates to schedule interviews.

The following names were submitted to Governor Kemp:

• John Pursley - Chief Assistant District Attorney, Cobb Judicial Circuit
• Mason B. Rountree - Founding Partner, Rountree Law Firm
