DCCC Statement Ahead of New York Republicans’ Telerally with Donald Trump

Tonight, vulnerable New York Republicans Nick LaLota, Anthony D'Esposito, Mike Lawler, Marc Molinaro, and Brandon Williams are campaigning with their far-right, convicted felon party boss Donald Trump instead of meeting with voters on the first day of in-person voting in New York.

DCCC Spokesperson Ellie Dougherty released the following statement:

"It's fitting that a scandal-ridden former president is campaigning with scandal-ridden New York Republicans just ten days from Election Day. Just like their far-right party boss, these vulnerable House members have peddled corruption, racism, and unhinged behavior while running for some of the toughest re-election campaigns in the country.

"On November 5th, New Yorkers will reject the dangerous agenda of Donald Trump, Nick LaLota, Anthony D'Esposito, Mike Lawler, Marc Molinaro, and Brandon Williams that's putting families from Long Island, to the Hudson Valley, to Central New York and the Mohawk Valley in harm's way. New York Republicans are all but guaranteeing their pink slips."
