Rival and Reach3 Integrate Ad Hoc Audiences

October 7 2024

Sister companies Rival Technologies and Reach3 Solutions have launch a new solution called Voice of Market, bringing the firms' mobile-first, conversational approach to new audiences beyond the communities in their core offering.

The Canada-based companies were founded in 2018 and also have locations in the US. ResTech firm Rival offers a platform which converts surveys to 'emulate the text messages people use every day', and launched rapid experimentation division Rival Labs in July. Reach3 gathers insight through tools based on mobile messaging, using immersive, in-the-moment research designs and dynamic digital storytelling.

The companies say Voice of Market eliminates problems with fraudulent responses and low survey engagement, as well as removing the burden of having to deal with multiple vendors. The solution is designed to complement Rival's existing Insights Community 2.0 solution, which supports ongoing conversations with dedicated audiences. It offers a single, integrated platform incorporating access to 'new, diverse audiences, including non-customers and competitors' shoppers'. Voice of Market's use of a mobile, conversational approach helps it to resonate with younger, harder-to-reach, niche audiences - the firms say the new solution 'ensures insights that are not only rapid but also deeply reliable'.

Rival CEO Andrew Reid comments 'We do more than recruit audiences: we connect you with our trusted panel providers and manage them too, ensuring you get the right fit. When these panels engage with Rival's qual, quant, AI-empowered conversational platform, magic happens. You'll gain authentic, actionable insights'. Clients can either do this in a DIY environment, with support on call from Rival's team; or using the full service consultancy approach of Reach3.
