The Tax Administration has set up special attention points in its offices in the province of Valencia for those affected by the DANA, to deal with information and assistance needs regarding the tax measures implemented, and to facilitate the completion of any related procedures.
Citizens attached to the Catarroja branch, which remains closed, can contact any AEAT administration in the province of Valencia, where they will be offered all the information they need, and a specific protocol will be established for telephone assistance so that all telephone calls to this administration will be answered by the Tax Administration.
Furthermore, a specific section will be incorporated in the AEAT's electronic headquarters that compiles all the relevant information for those affected by the DANA. This section will include direct access to a chat room and a telephone appointment facility for AEAT staff to deal directly with those affected.
Bearing in mind that there are areas without internet, a specific telephone number will also be published as soon as possible in the electronic headquarters to answer calls.
The AEAT has also set up a specific service point for affected tax professionals to facilitate any procedures they may need to carry out in the context of the catastrophe and its aftermath.
In this regard, for procedures such as obtaining digital certificates, authorisations, extending the deadlines for filing returns, replying to summons and allegations, debt deferrals, etc., and to inform them about all the tax measures adopted, tax professionals will have a special service point at the headquarters of the Special Delegation of the AEAT in Valencia.
Tax professionals will also have a specific telephone number and email address to contact the AEAT directly. The Special Delegation has informed the associations and professional tax associations to disseminate information about this service to their associates and members.
