Operation Wish Book accepting donations through Dec. 13

Operation Wish Book is a non-profit organization started more than 30 years ago by a group of retired Idaho teachers with the goal of getting new books into the hands of children. Albertsons Library has been a proud supporter of Operation Wish Book since 1994, collecting over 4,000 new books to help spread literacy throughout the Treasure Valley.

Albertsons Library will again be collecting donations in 2024 and challenges the campus community to help reach their goal of collecting 800 books to donate. Donated books should be new or unwrapped and may be paperbacks, hardbacks or board books geared toward readers ages 0-18.

Join Albertsons Library in making a difference to hundreds of children by donating a new book today. Donations may be dropped off on the first floor of Albertsons Library from Nov. 1 - Dec. 13, 2024.
