City of St. Louis to Host Free Vaccine Clinic Ahead of Mayor Jones’ Cabinet in Community Meeting at Bishop Dubourg High School

In a collaborative effort to promote community health and wellness, The City of St. Louis, the Department of Health (DOH), Barnes-Jewish Hospital (BJH), and CareSTL Health will be hosting a free vaccine clinic before the upcoming Mayor's Cabinet in the Community town hall meeting on October 10. The vaccine clinic will begin at 5:00 PM, and the town hall will begin at 6:00 PM. The event will take place at Bishop DuBourg High School, 5850 Eichelberger St., St. Louis, MO.

"It's essential, especially this time of year, for everyone to make sure they're updated on their vaccines," said Mayor Tishaura O. Jones. "Pairing this vaccine clinic with our Cabinet in Community meeting will help residents walk away healthier and more informed about our City."

BJH has donated COVID, Flu, and RSV vaccines for the event. Those who elect to have the COVID vaccination will receive a gift card as an incentive. Gift cards are exclusively for COVID vaccines. Attendees will have the opportunity to receive vaccines at no cost, with qualified healthcare professionals from CareSTL available to answer questions and provide guidance on vaccination options.

"We are proud to partner with BJH and CareSTL Health to bring this important health resource to our community," said Dr. Mati Hlatshwayo Davis, Director of the City of St. Louis Department of Health. "Vaccines are vital to keeping our community healthy, and we encourage everyone to take advantage of this opportunity."
