Portions of Two Downtown Streets to Close November 23, 25

Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) today announced that portions of two downtown streets will close beginning November 23 and 25.

The closures are as follows:

• Stadium Drive between Salt Creek Roadway and "T" Street will close at 6 a.m. Saturday, November 23, for the Nebraska State High School Football Championship Finals. StarTran Route 24-Holdrege will be detoured during this closure. The street will reopen at 9 p.m. Wednesday, November 27.

• Seventh Street between "M" and "N" streets will close Monday, November 25, for a paving project. This work is scheduled to be completed by the end of December.

Travelers are encouraged to seek an alternate route and exercise caution around these closures. LTU appreciates the public's patience during these closures and reminds residents that project dates are subject to change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances.
