Buena Creek Clean-up Recap

The City of Vista participated in the countywide Coastal Cleanup Day on Sat., Sept. 21, sponsored by I Love a Clean San Diego. Over 50 dedicated volunteers, along with the City's Stormwater Division, Public Works Department, and Community Improvement Team, came together to clean up Buena Vista Creek. They successfully collected 1,251 pounds of trash, 105 pounds of recycling, and 30 pounds of green waste. The City's Stormwater Division organizes these cleanups twice a year.
