Kuster Statement on the Anniversary of the 9/11 Terrorist Attacks

Washington, D.C. - Today, Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02) issued the following statement commemorating the anniversary of the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks:

"Today marks the 23rd anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks-a solemn day for the United States. Our country and the world were forever changed in the aftermath of these horrific acts of terror.

"Today and every day, we remember and mourn the thousands of lives taken on that day and in the weeks, months, and years since. We remember and thank the first responders who put themselves in harm's way to save countless innocent lives. We remember and honor the bravery and sacrifice of those who answered the call of duty to protect our freedoms and values.

"We will never forget. May God bless the United States of America."
