Intermittent Traffic Delays and Parking Restrictions for Bridge Beam Deliveries for the Parker Street Bridge Project in Lackawanna County

Dunmore, PA -The Parker Street Heritage Valley parking area in Scranton, Lackawanna County will be closed to traffic from Monday, October 28, 2024 through Thursday, October 31, 2024 in order facilitate delivery of bridge beams. In addition, the bridge beams will be delivered on Monday, October 28 and Tuesday October 29. There may be intermittent traffic delays along the route as follows throughout the day:

  • I-81 southbound from New York State Line
  • Exit at 202 to Route 107 southbound
  • Exit Route 107 on to Business Route 6 westbound in Jermyn
  • Business Route 6 westbound to Route 247 southbound in Eynon
  • Route 247 southbound to Route 1023 southbound (Gino Merli Drive in Blakely Borough)
  • Route 1023 southbound to Main St in Blakely Borough
  • Main Street to Route 2006 Boulevard Avenue from Dickson City to Scranton
  • Boulevard Avenue to East Parker Street
