Seton Hall Maintains Top Position in 2025 National Rankings
Seton Hall University's fundamental commitment to academic excellence and student success has again been recognized in the latest national college rankings. The 2025 U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges rankings, released today, place Seton Hall among the top 38 percent of national universities, solidifying its position as a leading institution of higher education.

U.S. News & World Report Rankings
In the 2025 edition of U.S. News & World Report's Best Colleges, Seton Hall is ranked #165 among National Universities. This placement keeps Seton Hall firmly in the top tier of national universities.
Notable achievements in the U.S. News rankings include:
- Strong performance in graduate earnings, ranking #62 nationally for the percentage of graduates earning more than high school graduates
- Improved first-year retention rates, moving up 16 spots in this category
- Continued excellence in financial resources, ranking in the top half of national universities
