Santa Rosa's Outstanding Community Volunteers Receive 2024 Merit Awards

On Monday evening, the City's Merit Awards program honored 11 volunteers doing extraordinary work in our community - such as knitting teddy bears for hospitalized children, creating community through bike rides and tacos, cleaning creeks and parks, raising money for Secret Santa, preserving history, inspiring art, and so much more. The longstanding annual celebration of 42 years recognizes volunteers nominated by the community for giving their time, energy, and talents to make Santa Rosa a better place to live, work, and play.
