The upgrade of one of the oldest traffic signals in the Township is getting the green light.
Thanks in part to a Green Light Go grant, the Emergency Signal at Route 19 and the Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company and Cranberry EMS is on tap for replacement. At the October 3 meeting, the Board of Supervisors approved a contract with Whitman, Requardt & Associates LLP for design of the signal.
The existing signal is past its life expectancy and using old technology, necessitating the work.
