UPDATE: Jokaia Polk was located safe. The Level II Endangered/Missing Child Advisory is cancelled. Please direct any questions to the St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff's Office.
St. John Parish - The Louisiana a State Police has issued a Level II Endangered/Missing Child Advisory on behalf of the St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff's Office for 13-year-old Jokaia Polk. Polk was discovered missing on Saturday, November 9, 2024 around 9:30 p.m. from her home on N. Canterbury Drive in LaPlace. LSP received the request to issue an advisory at approximately 5:01 p.m. this evening.
Polk is a black female with brown eyes and long "faux-locs" hairstyle. She is 5'1" tall and weighs approximately 110 pounds. Polk was last seen wearing a dark shirt and an unknown color pants.
