DC Department of Parks and Recreation to Host an Official Watch Party for Orlando Pride vs. Washington Spirit NWSL Championship

(Washington, DC) - On Saturday, November 23, the DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR), in partnership with the Washington Spirit, invite fans and families to an official watch party for the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) Championship between the Orlando Pride and the Washington Spirit. The event will take place on Saturday, November 23 at 8 pm at Randall Recreation Center and Field, just a few blocks away from the Spirit's home turf at Audi Field.

This family-friendly event promises to bring the excitement of championship soccer to the community with a jumbo screen set up under the lights for a true game-day experience.

"Women's soccer fans may not all be able to make it to Kansas City for the big game, but DPR and the Spirit have you covered," said DPR Director Thennie Freeman. "This watch party is the perfect way to bring families and fans of all ages together to cheer on our team as we aim to bring the championship trophy back to the 'District of Champions.'"

Attendees can look forward to a fun fan experience, including treats and surprises courtesy of DPR. Families with young players are especially encouraged to join and share in the spirit of the game, fostering the next generation of soccer enthusiasts in the District.
