Housing & Community Development Annual Grant Applications Open December 3, 2024.

The Division of Housing and Community Development (HCD) is announcing the opening of applications for the Strategic Community Investment Fund (SCIF) grant programs for FY26 (July 1, 2025 - June 30, 2026) on Tuesday, December 3^rd, 2024, at 10am.

Applicants are invited to apply for the following Federal and City-funded programs.

• Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG)
• Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA)
• HOME-Funded Tenant Based Rental Assistance (HOME-TBRA)
• Neighborhood Partnership Grant (NPG)
• Community Service Grant (CSG)

SCIF is a competitive funding process that allows HCD to support community-based programs, initiatives and projects that directly benefit Memphis neighborhoods and citizens. More than $5.5 million were awarded to local agencies to implement housing and community development initiatives during FY25 (July 1, 20024 - June 30, 2025).

Applications will be online for the above programs starting on December 3, 2024, at 8 am. The workshop provides opportunity for applicants to have an overview of the grant process and to speak directly with the program staff. The deadline for electronic submissions is January 31, 2025, at 4:00 PM.
