City to Begin Indiana Avenue Preservation Project

Spokane Valley, WA - The City of Spokane Valley will begin construction on the Indiana Avenue Preservation Project on Monday, Sept. 23. The project is anticipated to be complete in about six weeks.

The project will extend the concrete pavement on the east leg of the Indiana Avenue and Sullivan Road intersection, approximately 800 feet to the east along Indiana Avenue.

During construction, Indiana Avenue throughout the project area will be reduced to one lane in each direction and the I-90 off-ramp to Indiana Avenue will be closed. The I-90 off-ramp to Sullivan Road will remain open, allowing drivers to turn right onto Sullivan Road for access to Indiana Avenue. Signage will be in place to direct drivers.
