Stanislaus County

Closures on State Routes 99, 132, And Interstate 5

Stanislaus County- - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various ramp and lane closures next week on State Route 99 (SR-99), State Route 132 (SR-132), and Interstate 5 (I-5). Work is scheduled to occur as follows:

State Route 99

  • Overnight closure of the #1 (left) lane of southbound SR-99 at Tuolumne Boulevard in Modesto for concrete work beginning Wednesday, November 13 through Friday, November 15, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.

State Route 132

  • Overnight, one-way traffic control between La Grange Dam Road and Quartz Ledge Creek bridge for bridge work beginning Wednesday, November 13 through Friday, November 15, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m.

Interstate 5

  • Full, long-term closures of the northbound and southbound Westley Safety Roadside Rest Areas on I-5 and the auxiliary lane leading to the southbound rest area exit for construction work.
    Note: This project is expected to continue through the fall of 2025.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
