Chiropractor Arrested on 5 Sexual Assault Charges Involving Patients

DENTON, TX, Sept. 20, 2024 - Denton chiropractor Hector Reyes III is in custody on five charges following a Denton Police Department investigation into the sexual assaults of patients.

In June 2023, a woman told Denton PD officers that Reyes sexually assaulted her during an appointment at his business in the 2500 block of Lillian Miller Parkway.

Later that month, a second woman reported that she was sexually assaulted by Reyes during an appointment.

Following a Denton PD investigation, the cases were presented to a Denton County Grand Jury on Tuesday, Sept. 17. Reyes was indicted on five sexual assault charges stemming from the two incidents. Four charges were related to the first report for each act that occurred during the assault.

The Denton County Sheriff's Office arrested 39-year-old Reyes at his business on Thursday, Sept. 19. He was booked into the Denton County Jail without incident. His total bond has been set at $115,000.
