Vice President for Academic Affairs Katrina Carter-Tellison highlighted Lynn's citizenship programs and initiatives. She also recognized Robert Watson, distinguished professor of American history, for winning the Gold Medal in History award for his book When Washington Burned at the Independent Publishers Awards, and George Antoniou, associate professor in the College of Business and Management, who was selected as a Fulbright Scholar for his work in Albania.

Tellison also noted that Lynn ranked second in the U.S. and 36 internationally in the 2024 Times Higher Education rankings for the institution's initiatives on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Goal 5: Gender Equality. The ranking honors Lynn's dedication to embedding the SDGs into academics and extra-curricular activities for students.
